You may have heard the saying that only boring people get bored, but that simply isn’t true. Every single person on this planet, no matter how exciting your life may be, will get bored at some point in their life. If this boredom passes, then this is completely fine, but if it sticks around for several hours or days, then it can start to affect your health. In fact, some medical reports have even stated that those who said they were bored a lot were more likely to die at a younger age. Boredom can also increase your risk of developing anger issues, depression, and anxiety, as well as unhealthy habits like drinking and smoking which would contribute to the shorter lifespan.
