The man opened fire on passers-by in the state of Michigan in 2016: “I’ve wanted to do that for a long time.”
A man working for the Uber car service confessed to the murder of six people in the US state of Michigan in 2016. The defendant Jason Dalton pleaded guilty on Monday shortly before the start of his trial. When the judge asked him if he wanted to confess, the 48-year-old replied, “Yes, I’ve been wanting to do that for a long time.”
Dalton had in February 2016 in the approximately 230 kilometers west of Detroit town of Kalamazoo shot at three different locations on passers-by. Between the deeds he carried Uber passengers. Six people were killed and one woman and one teenager were seriously injured. If convicted, Dalton faces a life sentence.
