Huawei Mate 9 will release in the upcoming month of the November 3^rd at Huawei’s event in Munich, Germany. Huawei plans to unveil two different models for the upcoming devices of Mate 9. One is the standard flat model  and other boasts of display with curved sides.  These devices are known by their codenames. The standard flat display model  is codename Manhattan, while the curved edge Mate 9  model  codename is the Long Island in Huawei Smartphones collection.

Huawei Long Island model is the more premium hardware. The device will feature 5.9-inch with its QHD display  that’s support Google’s Daydream VR platform, a dual-edge curved display similar to Galaxy S7 Edge, a 64-bit, eight core HiSilicon Kirin 960 chips, 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The camera will be Leica setup similar to the one seen in the Huawei P9, but lenses and sensors will reportedly improved. The dual camera setup on the back of the device, 20-megapixel resolution with f/2.0 aperture.Unfortunately, high-specs Long Island model will only available in Huawei’s native China.

Huawei Mate 9 Manhattan model Features

The Huawei Manhattan model is said to be the base version. The device will feature a 5.9-inch 1080p screen with an FHD display, powered by octa core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor. Mate 9 Manhattan will also come with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Camera setup will be same 20-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. Manhattan will get a global release.
